Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai's deputy ruler and minister of finance and industry, received on Sunday the heads of the Arab, Muslim and foreign diplomatic corps in Dubai on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, according to the official Emirati news agency (WAM).
On the same day, Sheikh Hamdan sent a cable of congratulations to Sultan Qaboos bin Saeed of Oman on the occasion of his country's national day anniversary, wishing him good health and the Omani people further progress and prosperity, said the agency.
