Economic Seminar to highlight traders’ outlook for 2009
Dubai Chamber-organised event will discuss Dubai’s export performance and its global competitiveness
Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry is organising the First Economic Seminar of 2009 at its premises on February 19. The seminar will cover three important topics including the Dubai Traders Outlook for 2009, Export Performance of Dubai Chamber members and the Competitiveness of Dubai exports in the world market.
The first topic of the Traders Expectations for 2009 will cover the various market factors that had shaped the outlook of Dubai traders for the current year. This presentation will also address the issues related to the impact of the global economic crisis.
The second topic highlights Export performance for Dubai Chamber members for 2008 in light of the main trends in exports while focusing on the challenges facing the Dubai export market in 2009.
The third presentation will provide the audience with indices that measure how competitive Dubai exports are by sector and by industry at the global and regional level. All the presentations are followed by a question and answer session handled by experts in the field.
The seminar offers participants from the business community a chance to share their knowledge, insights and expertise with key speakers, Dubai Chamber officials and other participants.
