Egypt is going to open the Rafah border crossing on Sunday so students and residents of Arab countries stranded in Gaza Strip can leave, a spokesman for the terminal said, according to the AP. At least 3,000 students and Arab nationals have applied to leave Gaza.

Border spokesman Adel Zourab said the Rafah border crossing would be open for three days.

Meanwhile, a rocket fired from the Gaza Strip hit southern Israel on Sunday, causing neither casualties or damage.  On Saturday, a rocket struck Ashkelon.
