Emirates Bank Appoints New Head of Retail Products and Marketing

Emirates Bank announced the appointment of Vikram Krishna, new Head Retail Products & Marketing. With his extensive advertising, sales and marketing experience, the bank is confident in his capable approach towards consolidating their leading market position across the retail segments.

Vikram joins Emirates Bank from HSBC India, where he was the Senior Vice President, heading Marketing for Retail Assets and Consumer Finance. In his tenure, he was instrumental in launching the HSBC Pragati Finance, a brand that became a household name within a year of launch. He was also responsible for developing an extensive portfolio of mortgage products that have strengthened the premium positioning of HSBC in India.

Prior to HSBC, Vikram was the Vice President & Head of Mortgages for North India at Citifinancial. where he was recognized for his contribution to business by being included in the Citigroup Global talent inventory for the next generation of business leadership.

Vikram started his career in advertising at Lintas (now called Lowe) before he moved to banking.

Vikram is an MBA in Marketing & holds a graduate degree in Mathematical Statistics from the University of Delhi. He is married with two daughters.

He brings to Emirates Bank a rich and varied sales and marketing experience across financial products and brands. This coupled with his enthusiastic and innovative approach shall help in providing effective leadership to the Retail Marketing & Product development team.
