Emirates Bank’s Asset Management Unit together with Al Shaheen Club- Emirates Bank’s Priority Banking Service, teamed up to host the Investment Client Reception 2006. On this evening, Emirates Bank launched to its clients their new Global Fund Range.
Mr. Deon Vernooy, Emirates Bank’s Head of the Asset Management Unit commented on the occasion by saying, “ At Emirates Bank, we believe it is vital to offer clients exposure to as many asset classes as possible, as no one asset class will be the leader every year. Equally, no two clients will have the same tolerance for risk. We, therefore feel it is better to take into account what is most appropriate for each client’s return requirements, attitude to risk and investment time horizon and give them the choice on which asset class suits them best.”
Emirates Bank has filtered the investment universe for funds from a range of investment managers that they believe offer clients a wide and robust, yet easy to navigate, suite of investment choices. Their research resulted in the devolvement and introduction of the Global Fund Range. The Global Fund Range is a thoroughly analyzed and handpicked selection of mutual funds which covers all areas: from local to international markets; conventional to Shari’a compliant funds; and mainstream to niche offerings. The fund range is constantly being monitored and screened to ensure that the reason for initial selection remain valid.
The event took place at the prestigious Nad Al Sheba Club. The event, aptly named “An Evening at the Races” was a excellent evening which offered clients the chance to witness the exciting horse races whilst mingling amongst Emirates Bank representatives from both Al Shaheen Club and the Asset Management Unit.
