Emirates Building Systems showcases its major projects at The Big 5 Show 2009

Dubai - UAE November 24, 2009:- Emirates Building Systems (EBS), a subsidiary of Dubai Investments Industries and a regional pioneer in the construction of high-rise steel buildings, is showcasing its major projects at the ongoing The Big 5 Show 2009, the Middle East’s largest trade show for the construction industry.

Participating in the annual exhibition for the thirteenth successive year, EBS is presenting some of its prestigious steel structure projects at The Big 5 Show 2009, including the Dubai Metro stations and the passenger and cargo terminals at the upcoming Al Maktoum International Airport in Jebel Ali. EBS is also showcasing its portfolio of steel towers, such as the Al Tijaria Tower in Kuwait and the Business Bay Tower in Dubai.

“Emirates Building Systems has an unparalleled track record, having executed several high-profile projects in the UAE and in the Gulf. We felt The Big 5 Show presented an ideal opportunity for us to showcase our portfolio of projects to an international audience of potential investors and business partners,” said Samir Akra, General Manager of Emirates Building Systems.

EBS will be located at Stand 2A-90, Hall 2 at The Big 5 Show 2009, which is taking place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Having completed the expansion of its factory in the UAE to cater to the increased demand for steel structures in the Gulf region, EBS now has an annual production capacity of over 75,000 metric tonnes. EBS has also set up additional fabrication facilities in the GCC and the Indian subcontinent.
