EMIRATES' FIRST HAMBURG - NEW YORK FLIGHT RECEIVES ROUSING WELCOME AND FAREWELL

On 29th October, Emirates' flight EK205 Dubai-Hamburg-New York received a rousing welcome at the Hamburg Airport, prior to its maiden flight across the Atlantic to New York. At the ceremonial cake cutting event at Hamburg Airport pictured are (from left to right) James J. There was much fanfare at Hamburg Airport  including a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, 29th Oct prior to the departure of Emirates' launch flight from Hamburg to New York. On 29th October, Emirates's first flight Hamburg-New York received a ceremonial send-off at the Hamburg Airport.
