Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, has confirmed plans for a fifth daily service from Dubai to London Heathrow, starting from 1st August.

The award-winning carrier currently flies four times daily from Dubai to London Heathrow with departures at 2:40am, 7.45am, 2.15pm and 4.15pm.
The new service will initially be operated by 278-seat Airbus A330-200 aircraft, with 27 seats in Business Class and 251 seats in Economy Class. From 1 September, a three class service will be introduced providing 12 seats in First, 42 seats in Business and 183 Economy Class seats.
Ghaith al Ghaith, Emirates Executive Vice President Commercial Operations Worldwide, said: “We are pleased to confirm this additional daily service to Heathrow, which has long been in our forward planning. It provides our customers with increased choice and flexibility, enabling us to meet demand for services to Heathrow from Dubai which offers our customers even greater flexibility when planning their journeys.”
The increase in capacity means that Emirates will offer 13 departures each day to the UK from Dubai, some 91 return flights per week. Alongside five services a day to London Heathrow, Emirates also offers a further choice of three daily services to London Gatwick, two per day to both Manchester and Birmingham, as well as a daily service to Glasgow.
