Emirates NBD, the regional leader in terms of assets, is always at the forefront of several community focused initiatives that set the standard for corporate social responsibility. In conjunction with this commitment to be actively involved within the society, Emirates NBD proudly announces its support of the Al Noor Make a Difference Campaign that will commence at the start of the holy month of Ramadan, 2009.
To help contribute to the great cause of the Al Noor organization and assist with providing the means for the children with special needs to meet their full potential, Emirates NBD customers will be encouraged to contribute a monthly donation of AED 25 and above through their credit cards.
The campaign will begin with forms detailing the donation process that will be distributed with the bank’s monthly statements to all the customers throughout the UAE.
This will help ensure that sustainable funds will be raised to cover the costs of operating, developing and maintaining the Al Noor Training Centre.

The Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs is the first organization of its kind in the Middle East. It was established in 1981 with eight children enrolled; today that number exceeds two hundred and fifty. The centre provides an extensive training program that includes therapy, work placement, computer and vocational training for children that face challenges such as Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy and Autism.
