EmQuest, the rebranded travel services provider for the Emirates Group, has expanded its customer portfolio with the signing of several new agreements.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive Emirates Airline and Group, signed contracts with Automated Systems Company's (ASC) and Dubai Travel & Tourism Agents Group (DTTAG) on the 2nd of May.
The contract with ASC, the National Distribution Company for Galileo in Kuwait, is EmQuest's first overseas agreement to distribute its products and services. Sheikh Ahmed, on behalf of EmQuest and Dr. Nabeel Al-Loughani, Chairman, ASC signed the agreement which will see ASC distribute EmQuest's products and services in Kuwait. EmQuest will be looking to sign more such agreements throughout the Arab Air Carriers Organization (AACO) territories.
DTTAG has chosen EmQuest to be its GDS sponsor; an agreement that confers special privileges to the travel services provider. This agreement was also signed by Sheikh Ahmed on behalf of EmQuest and Iain Andrew, President, DTTAG.
Cox & Kings, a leading travel agency in India and newly established in Dubai, has also opted for EmQuest as its service provider - showing its preference for Galileo by Travelport as the GDS. A subscriber contract was signed by Gary Chapman, Emirates' President Group Services, representing EmQuest; and Mahesh Ammanath, Branch Manager, Cox & Kings.
These latest signings add to EmQuest's new contracts with BCD Travel, Al Rais Travel and AIG Travel, which were also formalised earlier this month.
