For those couples and families planning to have their holidays outside the Middle East, Cannes in southern France is an ideal destination where a series of festivals will be held during the long summer evenings.

The Palais Stéphanie Cannes offers convenient access to one of the city’s famous sandy beaches just steps away. It has breathtaking views of the Lerins Islands, the Esterel Mountains and the Bay of Cannes, a place for major events such as the International Firework Festival celebrated annually in July and August.

The rooftop and the beaches of Palais Stéphanie are the perfect spot to watch the show where the reflection of fireworks on the calm waters of Cannes is highly appreciated by hotel guests.

The city also hosts the Nuits Musicales du Suquet, a festival of music performances founded by the world-famous pianist Gabriel Tacchino. After listening to outstanding performances at the concert, hotel guests can spend an intimate dinner at La Scena Lounge Bar and Restaurant, which is the place to see and be seen in Cannes.

The Pantiero Electro Music Festival is held on the Riviera terrace of the Palais des Festivals in August.  Although the event puts the spotlight on electro, it also delves into many other music varieties: afrobeat, afro-house, electro-dub, house, electro-pop, hip-hop, reggae, and electro-jazz, among others.

Palais Stéphanie Cannes sits on the original site of the Palais de Congres, where the first Cannes Film Festivals were held until the new Palais des Festivals was inaugurated in 1983. The hotel’s redesign pays tribute to the legendary film stars of the festivals, such as Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot and Elizabeth Taylor.
