ENOC honours long-serving employees
• Recognises commitment and long-standing service of loyal employees
Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) awarded appreciation certificates to 30 employees who have completed 15 and 20 years of service within the group. Held for the second consecutive year, the initiative comes in line with ENOC’s commitment to promote excellence and reward loyalty amongst its staff for their outstanding efforts, which in turn reflects positively on the group’s performance.
At a special ceremony held recently at the Movenpick Hotel in Dubai, Saeed Abdullah Khoory, ENOC Group Chief Executive, said: “This event is an excellent platform for us to express our sincere appreciation to all our employees for their support, hard work and commitment in meeting the growth challenges and making ENOC the leading oil and gas company in the region.”
Addressing the employees, Khoory added: “I thank each one of you for your tireless determination and contribution to the company. As long-serving employees of ENOC, you are senior members of this family. You are the inspiration for the new recruits and you serve as role models for them.”
In recent years, ENOC has been diversifying its operations and expanding internationally while consolidating its businesses in the UAE. The Human Resources strategy of the company is aligned with its new business needs, focusing on providing the right opportunities to enhance the employee competencies and develop them into leaders.
Eisa Al Sarkal, Group HR Manager, ENOC said: “I congratulate all the long-serving employees who were recognised today. At ENOC, we put employees at the core of our business. The group’s prime focus is on promoting human capital by encouraging talent, teamwork, communication and employee engagement. We provide academic and professional learning as well as career development opportunities to motivated and ambitious employees. It is only through them that we have succeeded in becoming a highly profitable company."
