ENOC's 'Wellness and Social Programme Committee has organized a series of cultural and spiritual lectures during the Holy Month of Ramadan for employees of the Group.
The lectures are aimed at enhancing religious awareness as well as the spirit and practices associated with Ramadan, and come as part of the committee's initiatives to strengthen the social bonds between employees.
Key Islamic speakers from the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, Government of Dubai, will present the lectures in Arabic and English, opening the door for the diverse community of the Group's employees to attend and learn about the Holy Month.
The lectures address topics such as benefits of fasting for the health and soul, how to manage and utilize time wisely during Ramadan, key Islamic practices, and Ramadan in the UAE for Muslims and non-Muslims.
Saeed Abdullah Khoory, Group Chief Executive, ENOC, said: "The lectures are aimed at strengthening religious education and enhancing communication between all our staff of different ethnicities and backgrounds, as well as creating an environment of understanding and harmony during the Holy Month."
ENOC's 'Wellness and Social Programme Committee,' set up in 2009, is responsible for engaging employees in various activities that cover the physical, intellectual, social and emotional aspects of wellbeing.
