Eros Group, the sole distributor of world-renowned brands Samsung, Hitachi, Candy & TCL, Linksys by Cisco, Thermobreak, Lennox and Taurus one of the leading players in consumer electronics, telecom, and allied multi-products in the Middle East announced the launch of the ‘Delivery on Demand’ Service for Samsung mobile products in the UAE.  With the launch of this service, Eros Group will be running vans with Samsung mobile stocks to cater to independent retail outlets throughout the UAE.

With supply chain management being a crucial function for any organisation, the processes of planning, implementation and control of supply chain operations need to be as efficient as possible. From the point-of-origin to the point-of-consumption, organisations in the Middle East are seeking to improve the movement and inventory of stocks.

At the launch Mr. Deepak Babani, CEO, Eros Group said, “We at Eros Group always focus on bringing innovative real-time initiatives that benefit our consumers. This service will help facilitate real-time communication between the field and the central office thus ultimately benefiting the end consumer.

Due to globalization Supply Chain Management has become a tool for companies to compete effectively either at a local level or at a global scale. It has become a necessity especially for distributors in the region when it comes to delivering products at a competitive cost and on a real time basis.

“This concept was borne out of the need to service our independent Retail Channel Partners & the end users on a real time basis. This will take Eros Group a step closer in distribution and marketing of Samsung Mobiles. With the launch of this service the turn around time will be reduced for stock availability benefiting the dealers & ultimately the end consumers.” added Mr. Deepak Babani.

The Group is aiming to establish a clear service-based advantage over competitors by extending these innovative service solutions across the supply chain. This changes the norm of traditional offerings that are 'one-size-fits-all.' By managing the supply chain effectively the consumers would be able to access a variety of products that will be readily available ensuring end users are benefited.
