In its initiative to reach out and make a difference within the society, Etisalat has announced its title sponsorship to the ‘Godolphin Mile’, part of the 15th Dubai World Cup and the world’s richest event; which takes place at the majestic Meydan Grandstand and Race Course on 27 March 2010.
Etisalat has been an active supporter of the Dubai Racing Club initiatives and as the Title Sponsor to this year’s ‘Godolphin Mile’ horse race, Etisalat further endorses its keen belief in encouraging world-class sporting events that are strongly attached to the nation’s heritage.

Promising to stage a grand global event for the year, the Godolphin Mile will be held at the world’s largest integrated facility, Meydan and will witness the legendary likes of Elton John and Santana who will officially launch the Meydan Grandstand and Race course and close the 15th Dubai World Cup in extravagant style. The race will host world-class horses, jockeys and trainers on one of the world’s most anticipated race days with US$26m in prize money at stake over 8 races.
