ExxonMobil recently congratulated its joint venture company EMA Lubricants Company Limited (EMALU) on its 25th anniversary. EMALU is a joint venture between ExxonMobil and the General Interest Business Association (GIBCA).
In recognition of the many years of successful partnership between ExxonMobil and EMALU, an honorary plaque was presented to Sheikh Sultan Al Qassimi, Managing Director of GIBCA, by Andy Swiger, Senior Vice President of ExxonMobil Corporation.
In his opening remarks, Michel Gouzerh, Middle East Cluster Sales Manager-ExxonMobil Middle East Marketing Corp, said “Over the years, as partners our communication has been clear to the EMALU team in establishing challenging goals and initiatives and jointly supporting them to attain them and in the process developing the partnership into an invaluable one as it stands today.”
On accepting the award, Sheikh Sultan Al Qassimi, Managing Director - GIBCA, added “I am very happy to be here today to share this occasion with the leaders of the industry and even more glad that EMALU has grown manifold by adopting the world class standards of ExxonMobil in their business dealings.”
GIBCA-ExxonMobil’s joint venture EMALU was incorporated in 1984 to market internationally renowned Mobil lubricants, greases and specialty products in the U.A.E. Mobil premium products marketed through EMALU includes the world’s leading synthetic motor oil – Mobil 1. As sole distributor in the Emirates, the principal activity of the company is the trading, distribution and sale of Mobil lubricants.
EMALU supplies a wide variety of lubricants for business and consumer use in a wide range of passenger, commercial and industrial vehicle lubricants.
