FINE, market leaders in the Middle East’s hygienic paper industry has announced the promotion of its General Manager, Peter Janho to Chief Area Officer, Arabian Peninsula and Iran.

Janho, who was instrumental in setting up FINE’s UAE operations in 1989, joined the company as Production Manager in its Jordan factory. Over the years, he has played a major role in building FINE into a multi-million dollar business across the Lower Gulf region, successfully managing all core areas of the company, including finance, strategy, production, marketing and sales.

Commenting on the promotion, Salim Karadsheh, Chief Executive Officer, Nuqul Group, said, “Peter will definitely add more value to the company's objectives and mission no doubt, he will create more awareness of FINE’s range of products in different markets across the region. I am sure he will be instrumental in increasing sales especially in the Arabian Peninsula and Iran region.”

Peter Janho said, “Being associated with FINE for such a long time, is in itself a satisfying experience, and my new role will certainly add to the excitement. FINE as a brand has grown at an excellent pace in all key markets, with consumers duly recognising the quality of our hygienic paper products. I look forward to strengthening FINE’s market position in the region, in line with the company’s overall growth and expansion strategy.”

Janho has revolutionised FINE UAE with the introduction of Oracle-based ERP implementation for Financials and Manufacturing. The launch of SteriPro – a sterilization process for facial tissues, was also Janho’s brainchild.

A 23 year veteran in the industry, Janho’s 17-year tenure at FINE has played an instrumental role in shaping the company since its formation. After Janho’s new mandate there is a noticeable synergy between FINE branches in Arabian Peninsula as they are reporting to a single person. Also covered in his regional responsibility will be Iran which is the latest market addition to FINE’s broadening portfolio. He holds a B.Sc degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from University of Bradford (School of Civil Engineering) in England.
