A collection of Dr. Hamid Bouhioui's paintings will be exhibited in Agdal cultural center in Rabat until February 8. According to Le Matin, the artist's work tends to express deep sensations and is characterized by its usage of strong colors.

Bouhioui explains that for him such colors, as blue, green, yellow and red, are in fact the most authentic Moroccan colors. The Moroccan artist returned to his homeland in 2003, after 20 years abroad. He spent most of his times creating and exhibiting his works in France and Canada.

The current exhibition, titled "Roots", is Hamid Bouhioui's first exhibition in Morocco.
