His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cambridge Awards were presented to GEMS students from The Westminster School, Cambridge International School, and The Cambridge High School- Abu Dhabi, at an award ceremony held recently.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Cambridge Awards recognise students in the UAE who achieved outstanding examination results in Cambridge IGCSE, AS Level and A Level in the June 2008 examinations.
Saad Hafeez Choudhry and Priyanka Mitra from The Westminster School received awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the AS Level and A Level examinations respectively. Humera Ansari from Cambridge International School received the Top of the World award for obtaining the highest mark in the Cambridge IGCSE English Literature exam, while another student from the school, Nida Yousef, obtained the highest mark in the UAE in the Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies examinations.
Another GEMS student, Zeeshal Jamal Suri from Cambridge High School- Abu Dhabi also received an award for Outstanding Academic Achievement in the A Level examinations.
