FLUOR PRESSURISE TOPAZ WITH US$ 3.6 MILLION CONTRACT

Dubai-based Topaz Energy & Marine Ltd. announced recently that its Abu Dhabi based oil & gas subsidiary Adyard Abu Dhabi LLC had been awarded a US$ 3.6 million contract by Fluor Mideast Ltd. for the supply of equipment in relation to the Habshan Gas Complex Expansion Project of Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd. (GASCO).

The contract entails the design, engineering, procurement, fabrication and supply of 45 ASME Coded CS Pressure Vessels. The work will be carried out at Adyard’s 80,000 square metre water front facility located in the Industrial City of Mussafah, near Abu Dhabi. The entire project will take just over a year to complete and initial preparations are already in place.

Jim Masterton, General Manager, Adyard commented, “The contract was signed last month and our preparation is now complete. Work is now expected to commence immediately.”
