French Fashion University Esmod organize enticing fashion show "HEKTIK ETHNIC"
Students reveals international culture with array of color, fashion
16 December 2008 French Fashion University Esmod, the internationally acclaimed institution, organized its 3rd annual fashion show; which featured the latest innovations and trends from student designers at its Academic City Dubai campus. The show aimed at promoting the graduating fashion students to the professional field of fashion designing.
Organized with the theme ' HEKTIK ETHNIK ', the event showcased garments and designs prepared by 70 students inspired by 33 different countries. High profile figures from within Dubai's fashion industry had attended; providing students with valuable public exposure and access to haute couture enthusiasts.
Keeping up with the fashion timeline, students performed a modern collection. The patterns were playful, and for lack of a better word, fashionable. Sharp angles and creative green and red details adorned multi cultured designs, while another displayed a festive mix of orange, red and white. Bust lines were lowered and the long-sleeves of the previous collections disappeared and were replaced with spaghetti straps.
"Following previous fashion shows success, we are expecting a huge turn-out for our 3rd annual fashion show, which is one of the largest student fashion shows ever to be held in the UAE. We are proud to provide unique opportunities for our students to gain a world-class fashion career and participate in Dubai's emergence as a global fashion capital," said Mrs. Tamara Hostal, PR & Marketing Director, French Fashion University Esmod.

Esmod plans are to be at the forefront through further regional expansions and more tailored fashion education programs." concluded Mrs. Hostal.
The University's centerpiece BA Degree and Diploma in Fashion Design and Pattern Drafting, accredited by the French Ministry of Education, has opened registration for its next session beginning January, 2009 as well as the new make-up workshop.
The audience was further mesmerized by the melodious lively performance production company NOMADA which provided the best organization of the show, lighting and music support.
