FROST, the luxury bridal boutique, renowned for its innovative approach to
bridal-wear and extensive range of designer dresses across the Middle East, is
delighted to announce that on Thursday 13 May, 2010 they will be hosting the
first ever in-store bridal trunk show for brides-to-be.
Marking the first time such a bridal event has ever been presented across the
region, the FROST trunk show will be showcasing the latest runway collections
from the legendary and leading New York fashion designer, Carolina Herrera.
Arriving direct from New York, the Carolina Herrera Spring 2010 bridal
collection, exclusive to FROST boutique, will offer stylish brides of the region 3
days to view and order this striking collection. In addition, a selection of Carolina
Herrera’s key signature styles will also be available.
Brides-to-be can make appointments following the trunk show for Friday 14 May
and Saturday 15 May, 10am – 6pm. Although orders will take up to a maximum
of 5 months, rush orders will also be available. In addition, complimentary
shipment is offered to all orders made within 14 days of the event.
FROST first opened its doors in June 2007, and is now one of the leading bridal
and evening wear boutiques across the region. Recognised for its ‘avante garde’
and exclusive designer mix of International brands, FROST has become the
one-stop-shop for brides-to-be offering a range of styles from high-end ready-towear
to Haute Couture.
Designers include: Vera Wang, Pronovias, Monique Lhuillier (NY), Rosa Clara
Barcelona and Carolina Herrera.
The Carolina Herrera Spring 2010 Bridal Collection pays homage to artists
who have featured fashion prominently in their work, looking back through
history at the extravagant details that have come to define these painters’ styles.
Knife strokes in Van Gogh’s sunflowers are tactfully re-created in taffeta ruffles,
and Monet’s water lilies are hand painted onto English tulle. Matisse’s paper
cutouts made into duchess satin leaves are embroidered onto a tulle column.
These are to name but a few of the master painters who have not only inspired
this Spring 2010 Bridal Collection but have also left behind an indelible influence
on fashion.
