ALBAWABA - Al Qahera News TV reported that the Gaza ceasefire talks are set to resume today in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, as an attempt to put an end to the ongoing brutal Israeli aggression on the enclave.

A Reuters report confirmed that an Israeli delegation will be visiting Cairo to take part in the mediation meetings, citing Israeli officials. Meanwhile, a Hamas leader told Reuters that the group would wait to hear from Cairo mediators on the outcome of their talks with Israel first.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that Israeli soldiers in control of the hospital had blocked 107 patients in the human resources department from receiving water, electricity, or medication for several days, ignoring all evacuation pleas.

"After two weeks since the (Israeli) occupation forces raided the medical complex, there are still 107 besieged patients who have been gathered in the Human Resources Development Building living in inhumane conditions without water, electricity, or medicine," the hospital statement reads.

"Among the patients, there are 30 beds, in addition to 60 medical staff members, who are detained. The occupation prevented all attempts to evacuate these patients through international institutions".

According to the Gaza Media Office, since raiding the Al-Shifa Medical Complex a week ago, the Israeli army has killed over 200 Palestinians and imprisoned 1,000 others. For the 13th consecutive day, the Israeli army raids and besieges the compound.

Al-Aqsa Flood operation against Israel

Hamas military group announced on Oct. 7 a military operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood" against Israel which is the biggest offensive in decades.

Palestinian fighters “infiltrated” Israel from the Gaza Strip and captured military bases and took hostages as photos and videos went viral online showing Hamas fighters on vehicles inside Israel and others paragliding into occupation territory.

In response, Israeli armed forces announced targeting Hamas positions inside the Gaza Strip. Thousands were killed, and dozens of thousands of others were injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip.

The latest statistics by the Ministry of Health in Gaza revealed that the death toll from Israeli brutal pounding on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has soared to 32,700+ people, with more than 74,980+ injuries.

Since then, approximately 85% of Gazans have been displaced, all of whom are suffering from severe food insecurity, and the healthcare system has collapsed. Hundreds of thousands of people lack shelter, and aid trucks are entering the area at a lower rate than before the conflict began.
