Wacker Chemie AG, a leading global supplier to the chemical, semi-conductor and solar industries, today opened a new international training center for construction chemicals at its regional headquarters for the near and Middle East region at Dubai Silicon Oasis, the premier integrated innovations hub for high-tech industries.
Hosted under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman Dubai Airports, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman and CEO of Emirates Group, and Chairman of Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA), the inauguration ceremony was attended by Dr. Mohammed Al Zarouni, Vice-Chairman and CEO of DSOA, Auguste Willems, member of the Executive Board at Wacker Chemie AG, as well as senior officials from the two organizations.
The new Wacker Academy training and competence center offers not only an ideal platform for advanced training, but also for sector-specific networking among customers, distribution partners and Wacker specialists. In addition, Wacker Chemicals Middle East is simultaneously celebrating the 10th anniversary of the group’s operations in Dubai.
