Gulf Air to unveil exciting packages at BITE 2007 Wholesome holiday packages and 'beat-the-heat' offers await visitors

Gulf Air, the official carrier of BITE, will be presenting several exciting holiday packages and unbeatable fares for visitors at the Bahrain International Travel Expo (BITE 2007), which opens today (8 May 2007).

Gulf Air and Gulf Air Holidays- the holiday package division of Gulf Air- have come up with two novel schemes for potential travellers just for these three days. For instance, visitors can purchase a unique holiday 'Discount Coupon' at just BD5 that instantly qualifies them for a 12 per cent discount on the packages they purchase for travel between 1 June and 30 September 2007.

“We have come up with this unique idea with a practical purpose," says Gulf Air Vice President Marketing and Sales Lee Shave.

"Last year our Gulf Air stand at BITE witnessed a huge number of visitors, both from within the Kingdom and from neighbouring countries, waiting in queue for long to discuss and get expert opinion to plan and book their holiday packages.

“By purchasing this coupon they can meet up with our destination experts any time after the BITE and discuss in detail, plan and book their packages at leisure. They are also assured of a 12% discount instantly."

Gulf Air Holidays packages focus on the travel preferences of the local community and resident expatriates and are packed with quality, value-for-money package holidays with a range of properties to suit all tastes and budgets, from luxurious beach-front resorts to elegant boutique hotels, from homely self catering apartments to chic villas.

 

'Beat-the-heat' offer
For those, who prefer to buy just destination tickets instead of packages, Gulf Air is unveiling a unique 'beat-the-heat' offer at BITE. In addition to competitive low fares to several destinations, an instant, 'surprise destination fare' will also be announced at the Gulf Air stand every two-hours. The fares will be highly competitive and are available to select destinations announced on the spot.
