Mega-star Hani Shaker has completed shooting his most recent hit Al Mafroud, one of the singles from his latest album Ya Raytany.
Egyptian director Jamil Al Maghazi shot the dark and gothic video, which starts with an old castle that Hani enters with a lit candle.
As soon as the gates to the castle, his old home, are open, he finds himself face to face with his past. Old curtains, dust filled rooms and yellow fallen leaves cover the once warm floors of his home.
Hani then finds himself dragged back to a past of warmer times when as a young man, he fell in love and married his sweetheart.
But, she wasn’t worthy of the love and she betrayed his trust by running into the arms of another man. Hani then realizes that what the past had done to him, had also been done to his soul.
The video was shot in Prince Mohammad Kamal’s castle in Egypt.
Shaker’s new song was written by Mustafa Kamal, composed by Issam Ismael and distributed by Ashraf Abdo-Albawaba.com.
