The voting also included 13,838 entries from member of the public across the Middle East who were made aware of the mechanism through a well-orchestrated advertising campaign conducted throughout the Middle East in English and Arabic.

The entire procedure was continually monitored by Pan Arab Research Centre (PARC), a leading media monitoring agency in conjunction with Gallup International. The winner list was completed from a short-list of three finalists in each category.

The formal sit-down gala dinner attracted over 300 distinguished guests that included members of Royalty, dignitaries, celebrities, professionals from the world of outstanding watches, fascinating jewellery, fine writing pens and related accessories and journalist from the general and trade press.
Those attending also included the Ambassadors of Germany, Lebanon, Turkey and Kuwait to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
