Head of Saddam Hussein's defense team: Iran offered $100m to fabricate charges against PMOI

In response to a question on Iran's involvement in Halabja chemical attack, Khalil
Al-Dulaimi, head of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein's defense team, cited
the French lawyer Emmanuel Ludot, saying that Iranians had contacted him in Paris
and asked him to reject charges of Iran's involvement in Halabja killings for
$20million dollars.
The defense team, however, turned down the offer. This compelled (Iran) to raise its
offer to 100 million dollars for a ributing the charge to the PMOI, the opposition to
the present regime, but the defense team once again repeated its opposition to the
idea
