'Hello Kitty’s Jungle Party’ show comes to Dubai this DSS
Hello Kitty, the character loved by children all over the world, comes to Dubai this DSS in an exclusive ‘Hello Kitty’s Jungle Party’ show. Joined by her friends, Hello Kitty will be onstage from July 2 to July 22 at the Star Atrium in Dubai Mall that is a key sponsor of DSS 2009.
With three shows on Thursdays and Fridays (5:30pm, 7:30pm, 9:30pm) and two shows from Saturday to Wednesday (6:15pm and 8:10pm), the exciting show will be open to all Dubai Mall visitors for free. There will be no shows on Tuesdays.
Staged for the first time in the Middle East during DSS 2007, fans can watch Hello kitty and her friends put on a magical musical show again this year with a spectacular combination of stage settings, light effects, and music to go with.
The show cast includes Hello Kitty, Dear Daniel, My Melody, Minna No Tabo, and Bad Badtz Maru.
“Hello Kitty’s Middle East debut in DSS 2007 was a major success and thousands of children across GCC were given a unique opportunity to see one of their favourite characters come live on stage. DSS 2009 brings yet another magical show of Hello Kitty for young audiences this summer,” said Tshering Idnani, Senior Events Coordinator at DSF Office.
Hello Kitty is the most well-known among thousands of characters created by the Japanese company Sanrio. Hello Kitty was created in 1974 and is now a globally known trademark. Hello Kitty has been marketed in the United States from the beginning and has held the position of U.S. children's ambassador for UNICEF since 1983.
