As part of Hertz UAE’s ongoing expansion plans, the leading car rental and leasing company has opened a new branch at Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 3 (T3).
The Hertz T3 branch opened its doors for business yesterday to coincide with the soft opening of the airport’s new terminal and to meet the demand of the increasing number of visitors arriving in Dubai each year.
The branch will be staffed by four people 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist customers with car rental and off-hire needs at the busy Terminal 3, which is expected to handle 43 million passengers.
Nigel Johnson, General Manager of Hertz UAE said: “We are pleased to be part of the exciting new terminal at the Dubai International Airport. Customers can expect impeccable quality driven service, 24/7 car hire and 24 parking spaces exclusively for Hertz customer use.”
The Hertz T3 location follows the opening of the Hertz Radisson SAS Dubai Marina branch last month and the Dubai Festival City branch in June.
As part of Hertz’s ongoing expansion plans, the company is also investing heavily in two mega-sites at Dubai Investment Park and Mussafah in Abu Dhabi, with parking for 500 vehicles and full servicing facilities, in addition to plans to introduce a branch in Al Ain.
The latest branch opening at T3 means that Hertz UAE, part of the Al-Futtaim Group of companies, now has 15 locations across the UAE, including branches in Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.
Hertz is also expanding its fleet of vehicles, which is expected to grow to 8,500 vehicles in 2008. Several new 2009 models will be announced later this year including the Honda Pilot and the Honda Jazz
