According to an Israeli spokesperson, the missile was launched from Yemen, and their air defenses successfully intercepted it before breaching Israeli airspace.

ALBAWABA- The Houthi group in Yemen has claimed responsibility for launching ballistic missiles and drones targeting the Israeli city of Eilat. The Houthi military spokesperson confirmed the attack in a video statement posted on X a while ago.  

As sirens wailed in Eilat, the city experienced powerful explosions, triggering panic among residents. 

Due to the incident involving a bomb-laden drone falling on a school, classes in the city of Eilat will be suspended tomorrow.

The Israeli military responded by deploying the Hatz missile to intercept a ballistic missile aimed at southern Israel. 

According to an Israeli spokesperson, the missile was launched from Yemen, and their air defenses successfully intercepted it before breaching Israeli airspace. 

Videos of the explosions circulated on social media, capturing the intensity of the event.
