ALBAWABA- In a recent statement, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree confirmed three coordinated attacks on commercial vessels in the Red and Arabian Seas, citing violations of Houthi-imposed bans on entries to Palestinian ports.

The targeted ships include the SC Montreal in the Arabian Sea, struck by two drones; Maersk Kowloon, hit by a cruise missile in the same region; and Motaro in the Red Sea, attacked with multiple ballistic missiles.

This incident aligns with warnings issued by the British Maritime Authority, which reported maritime explosions near Yemeni waters.

An explosion was reported 25 nautical miles south of Al Mokha, while Ambry, a British security firm, detected additional explosions near Dhubab, close to the Bab al-Mandab Strait, a critical passage for global trade.
