Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd a leader in providing for next generation telecommunications network solutions held its very first Annual Huawei Middle East Cooperation Forum in Gulf Hotel in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain in March 2009. The forum gathered suppliers and strategic partners of Huawei Middle East under the one roof to share market prospects, business forecast and Huawei procurement business plans and strategies.
“Our first annual Huawei Middle East Cooperation Forum was a great success. Having the opportunity to share our plans and strategies and receive feedback from our Middle Eastern partners was invaluable experience,” said Mr. Wang Jia Ding, President of Middle East, Huawei. “Huawei is pleased to have the support of so many innovative partners to sustain our business growth in 2009.”
During the forum Huawei Middle East awarded five companies with plaques for Best Cooperation Partners and Special Awards based on year 2008 business delivery cooperation progress and performances. Huawei Top Management executives also showed their appreciation to all partners who have partnered with Huawei’s delivery team on projects over the past 12 months. The forum sparked up great interest as more than 120 participants from more than 60 Middle East region suppliers and partners attended the forum.
Top Management executives from Huawei Middle East region and the nine representative countries, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, UAE, Jordan, Lebanon, Iran and Bahrain were present at the event and shared their global and regional perspectives, case studies and expectation from the partners. Vice President of Huawei Middle East region Mr. Wang Huanan mentioned that Huawei will focus continuous efforts to explore the path toward cooperation with strategic partners as to bring mutual beneficial cooperation.
The forum was closed successfully at 5.00 pm along with the closing speech given by the Huawei Middle East Procurement Department Director, Mr. Huang Yi. He announced that the Huawei Middle East Strategic Cooperation Forum 2009 had provided an excellent communication platform for Huawei and partners and the 2009 forum marked an important milestone for Huawei in line with the forum slogan : “Cooperation Towards Mutual Success!“
