ICSS strengthens commitment to Emiratisation drive by becoming Golden Sponsor of Tanmia’s EPP

Tanmia, the National Human Resources Development and Employment Authority has announced that the Institute for Cultural and Scientific Studies (ICSS) will be the golden sponsor for its Employment Preparation Program (EPP) for 45 UAE Nationals. ICSS will support Tanmia’s Emiratisation drive by offering an AED 200,000 scholarship programme.

The EPP will improve English language and computer skills of the trainees, in addition to developing managerial skills including secretarial and office management skills that are essential in the work environment. The candidates will also be taught the most important accounting principles that will be used in government and private sectors.

“The Employment Preparation Program is a focused training initiative that aims to empower UAE National jobseekers with the most essential skills that will enhance their performance in a competitive work environment,” said Marwan Al Sawaleh, Acting Director General, Tanmia. “We appreciate the support extended by ICSS for this program, which also underlines their commitment to the Emiratisation drive. The program will help in building confidence and self-belief among Nationals seeking jobs in the government and private sector.”

ICSS aims to provide the highest level of education and e-learning courses that meet the requirements of UAE and regional markets. ICSS also provide courseware for study in many areas, either for credit or non-credit enrichment and does that through the use of technology to overcome barriers of time and distance.

Vice President of 32Group and Director of ICSS, Amir Pishyar said, “If we live in a society where the people around us are all well educated, we will all benefit.”

Giving details on the training program, Dr. Ehab H. Zaki, Head of Business Training at ICSS said, “Training will include preparation for ICDL certification which is rapidly becoming a must for all government employees, an introductory course in English for the business world in Dubai, plus two additional courses in managerial and accountancy skills for those who perform well in the earlier stages.”

Tanmia has continued its strong commitment to provide the best employment opportunities to UAE Nationals with its Center for Career Guidance and Planning that seeks to direct national human resources to educational, training and career options that match their capabilities, by adopting a clear vision for planning and development of career routes at the national level, in coordination with other relevant institutions. The CCGP supports career guidance activities undertaken by Tanmia local offices, in coordination with the Employment and Skills Development Center.
