With the launch of several websites, and numerous contracts signed, the first part of 2007 has been the busiest time for iHorizons, since they started back in 1994.
iHorizons, Qatar’s leading company within software development and content management has seen a very busy start to 2007. In the last month alone, iHorizons has launched four websites and signed two new contracts, one of them with Qatar Financial Centre Authority (QFCA), which was signed yesterday.
“It truly is a great time to do business in Qatar. We have grown our business steadily for many years, but the last year has been really exciting. Through our strong focus on research & development the last couple of years, we have launched new business lines and attracted several new clients, something that has boosted our business to the next level. Now we are looking outside Qatar, and within the next three years, our goal is to be one of the leading IT companies in the region.” said Khalid Halaweh, Country Manager of iHorizons Qatar.

In the last four weeks, iHorizons has launched websites for Qatar Football Association, Al Gharafa Club, Um Slal Club and the Planning Council, all combining to make the Qatari community more interactive and accessible. And yesterday iHorizons signed a deal with QFCA, further extending their professional relationship.
As proof of their focus on R&D and innovation, iHorizons was the first Qatari company to be included into Qatar Science & Technology Park with the likes of giants such as Microsoft, ExxonMobil, EADS, General Electric, a truly great achievement.
“As the first, and to date, only Qatari company at QSTP this is something that we are very proud of. We are involved in some very interesting projects at QSTP, in collaboration with the other partners there and alone. There are a lot of interesting possibilities to work with at the science park and I very much look forward to iHorizons being at the forefront of that discovery.” said Halaweh.
Whether focused on R&D at QSTP or providing specialized IT solutions throughout Qatar and the region, iHorizons has no intention of slowing down.
