The Indian delegation is lead by the Indian Council for Leather Exports (CLE), the organization entrusted with export promotion activities and the overall development of the Indian leather industry. The Indian group comprise 10 companies which will exhibit saddlery, harness, equestrian equipment and apparel.

“The council’s growing interest in Al Fares over the years has also earned them recognition within the regional equine industry. We will be keen to see them renew and develop new industry contacts during the event that will further strengthen their position regionally,” said Satish Khanna, General Manager of Al Fajer Information & Services, organisers of the event.

“The Indian Council of Leather Exports will be showcasing high quality equestrian leather products that have gone through stringent quality controls and are a product of modern research and development,” said Ms. Indira Mishra, Regional Director, Council of Leather Exports and leader of the delegation. “The equestrian market has become more conscious of aesthetics in recent years and our council members deliver both style and quality. We invite industry players come and visit the Indian Pavilion at Al Fares Dubai 2006,” she concluded.

This is why we were the first to register this time and hope that our world class saddles will be appreciated by a discerning audience,” said Mr. Massimo Bertola, Export Manager of Prestige Italia, whose saddles are used by some of the most accomplished and famous riders of the world.
