An Indian may face the death penalty if found guilty on charges of killing a Lebanese early this year in Beirut, reported the Daily Star newspaper.

Raja Gobal Motoya, 33, was accused of killing 25-year-old Ahmad Abboud, who worked with him at the garbage-collecting company, Sukleen, said the paper.

Abboud died of head injuries after Motoya hit him on the head with a screwdriver while the two men were repairing a truck at the company's premises.

Motoya said that he struck Abboud in a rage after the latter poured water on his head - Albawaba.com
