Syria's Minister of Information Ahmad al-Hasan on Thursday was quoted as saying that the "terrorist" attack that took place in Damascus on Tuesday proved that Syria, like other states, is facing "terrorist" threats.
In an interview to the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat daily, al-Hasan noted that this latest "terrorist" attack refuted the allegations, claiming Syria provides heavens for "terror."
"Syria like others has been exposed to terrorist actions", the Minister added.
Regarding the attack itself, al-Hasan disclosed that the four attackers were from "different nationalities." Initial reports said that seven "terrorists" launched the attack near the Canadian embassy at al Mazzeh district, located in west Damascus. (Albawaba.com)
