Institute for Executive Development equips UAE executives with expertise to lead future economic development

The Institute for Executive Development (IED), a member of the Abu Dhabi University Knowledge Group (ADUKG), is providing UAE business leaders and key decision makers a series of management training programmes to enhance them to lead the future economic development of the country.

 

Founded on Five Centres of Excellence, namely: Leadership and Executive Coaching; Strategic Management; Sustainability; Innovation and Entrepreneurship; and Organisation Development and Change, IED believes that these programmes correspond to the needs of national development.

 

Under such programmes, IED aims to provide economic leaders with international expertises, appropriate skills and practices needed to cope with the current and future economic situation. These programmes will likewise allow them to deal with the constant changes in the market and in the various economic sectors.

 

IED’s programmes are tailor-fit to suit public and private sector requirements, which will result in giving executives the appropriate capabilities to bring about positive changes directly to their respective organisations’ portfolio – including information on key ingredients that are necessary for a sustainable economic development plan that corresponds with regional and global market situations.  

 

“We’ve come up with our series of new programmes after an intensive research of the local market and its future requirements. Our training programmes are in line with the Abu Dhabi 2030 Economic Vision and provide a practical method to equip our local leaders with direct strategies to provide a sustainable development programmes,” said Rory Hendricz, Director, IED.

 

“IED’s mission is to provide consultancy and training to the executives and management officials including the needs of each sectors allowing them to develop effective management strategies and innovative projects that will contribute to achieve a sustainable economic growth,” he added.

 

The programmes include a series of theoretical trainings and interactive workshops focusing on the issues specific to their organisations and allowing them to develop a practical approach that can benefit their companies. Among the programmes are Diploma in Management & Leadership, Diploma in Strategic Management & Leadership, Strategic Management Essentials for Hospitality Executives, World-Class Public Sector Performance & Quality Excellence, Coaching for Organisation Consultants, Executive Integral Leadership, Influence for Success, and Resilient Leadership Developing Mental Toughness.

 

The IED has, in the past, collaborated with renowned educational institutions and international training organisations such as Ashridge Business School and Babson College as well as a number of leading educational institutions specialised in leaders’ development.

 

All IED programmes are accredited by the Abu Dhabi University and ADUKG’s partners as well as a number of internationally renowned business schools and award -winning educational programme providers.
