IODA, the global leader in digital distribution, marketing, and technology solutions for the independent music industry, today announced a partnership with Hong Kong-based independent label Love Da Records. Love Da will distribute and market music from IODA's catalog of more than two million tracks to digital music retailers across the Asia-Pacific region. The announcement was made today at the Music Matters conference in Hong Kong.

"IODA has long strived to create opportunity without borders for our clients. This partnership with Love Da is the latest in a string of agreements with top distributors and labels around the world," said Isaac Bess, IODA's senior director of Global Business Development, referencing IODA's work with partners such as Bonnier Amigo in Scandinavia, BounDEE in Japan and Tratore Records in Brazil. "Love Da has proven extremely adept at recognizing and actualizing the potential for international music in these emerging Asian markets. We're elated to have a strong partner that can provide important exposure for our clients."

Love Da will act as a conduit for IODA content into the region, facilitating deals with Asia's top digital service providers and acting as a local marketing arm. Love Da will leverage these successful relationships to raise the profile of IODA labels and artists in Asia through such programs as consumer marketing, physical distribution and touring.

"We've seen great success in Asia with artists like The Prodigy, Vampire Weekend, The XX, Arctic Monkeys, Phoenix, Mumford & Sons, Temper Trap... the list goes on," said Tommy Chan, founder of Love Da Records. "As our distribution network has expanded to include emerging territories like Singapore, Taiwan, and Malaysia we further our goal to be the leading one-stop music company offering a full range of marketing and distribution services for indie labels in the region. IODA's catalog of artists and labels is unparalleled, and we are eager to start working together to reach fans in our part of the world."

The Asia Pacific region is an important international market with continued growth in digital music sales and a growing interest in international music. On the heels of its successful alliance with BounDEE, Japan's largest distributor of independent music, the Love Da partnership extends IODA's presence into other key markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.
