The Majlis (Parliament) Commission for National Security and Foreign Policy Tuesday ratified outlines of a bill to suspend entry to Iran of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The Commission Rapporteur Kazem Jalali told reporters that the details of the bill will be studied in the second meeting of the commission.
According to IRNA, he said that the decision would take effect if members of the Security Council impose sanctions on Iran or intensify pressure on the country over its peaceful nuclear program.
Meanwhile, Austrian Press Agentur (APA) reported on Tuesday that an upcoming meeting of Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani with European Union's Foreign Policy Chief Javier Solana would probably take place in the Austrian capital Vienna. Quoting an "informed source," APA added that the two would discuss details of Iran's response to EU's incentives package on its nuclear programs.
