Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, Hassan Rowhani said in Tehran Wednesday that the head of the European Union opposes to putting Iran under pressure and threats and is against isolatinig Iran.

Talking to reporters at Mehrabad International Airport upon his arrival from the Netherlands, Rowhani described the remarks made by the Dutch prime minister, who chairs the rotating presidency of the EU, as "very important" and "fundamental," which would be the base for future Iran-EU talks.

"We have had a good cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency and the IAEA's recent report proves it," he said, according to IRNA. "All issues between Iran and the agency have been almost settled since the past year and only minor issues are remained," he added.

"Except for the nuclear issue, Iran`s ties with the EU was completely discussed and we held negotiations with the EU based on a 10-Article strategic plan," he said. He added, "They promised us to raise nuclear negotiations in the next meeting in Brussels."

The SNSC secretary stressed that all reports presented by the others on Iran`s military nuclear activities have been rejected in the agency`s recent report. (albawaba.com)
