Iranian President Mohammed Khatami, current head of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), called Wednesday for an urgent meeting of the group's foreign ministers to coordinate policy against Israel, state radio reported.
"President Khatami asked OIC Secretary General Ezzedine Laraki to call an urgent meeting of the organization's foreign ministers," the radio said, without saying when or where the meeting might take place.
