Iraqi police said two people have been killed and two injured in a suicide car bombing in the northern city of Mosul. According to the AP, a senior official at the provincial security headquarters said the attacker detonated his explosives Wednesday at an Iraqi military checkpoint in the Zanjili neighborhood.
In the second incident one person was killed and another one hurt in a roadside bombing in the town of Jalawla, north of Baghdad, in Diyala province, a police source was quoted as saying by AFP.
