Agence France Presse reported Tuesday that a gun attack on a government army patrol north of Baghdad left at least seven people dead and 13 others wounded.

Hundreds of civilians as well as security officials have died in March alone as sectarian violence throughout the country grows to match the 2006-07 civil war levels.
