Ishida provides best equipment and service for confectionery manufacturer
Leading Dubai confectionery manufacturer Best Food Company has selected an Ishida R Series multihead weigher to pack a variety of bag sizes of its chocolate coated nuts and wrapped chocolates. As well as the ultra-fast and accurate performance of the new weigher, Best Food says reliability of operation and continuing development advice from Ishida are also key factors that continue to give the company an important competitive edge.
The new weigher is a compact 14-head high-speed, high- accuracy machine with 0.8 litre hoppers, chosen to fit the limited space available in the line, which is being used primary to pack 100g Stabilo pouches. In addition, the weigher frequently fills packs of 15, 20, 50 and 200g. Using double dumping, the speed of the R-Series is also such that it can also be used for packs of 1 to 10 kg.
As a considerable proportion of Best Food’s output is now non-nut products, the ease and rapidity with which contact parts such as hoppers and feeders can be removed from the machine, thoroughly cleaned and replaced is another major benefit.
