Israel’s President visits Turkey

Israeli President Moshe Katsav arrived in the Turkish capital of Ankara on Tuesday for two days of talks on boosting relations with Israel’s main regional ally, especially in the economic sector. 

 

Katsav was set to meet with Turkish counterpart Ahmet Necdet Sezer, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Parliament Speaker Bulent Arinc. 

 

On Wednesday, he is expected to travel to Istanbul to chair a meeting of Turkish and Israeli businessmen aimed at increasing economic cooperation between both countries. (Albawaba.com)
