Israeli defence minister Shaul Mofaz said Israeli military was ready to face Iranian Shihab III missiles, an Israeli newspaper reported on Wednesday.
Mofaz said that Israeli Arrow missiles could conveniently counter an Iranian missile attack. The minister added Israel was in contact with the US and other countries regarding the Iranian threat and they have extended their help to Israel.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Haaretz daily reported that Pakistan was the source for Iran's knowledge to manufacture the centrifuges used in the creation of the enriched uranium used in nuclear weapons.
The newspaper alleged the United States has presented Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf with evidence backing this up, and has demanded an explanation of how such sensitive nuclear expertise was leaked to the Iranians. (Albawaba.com)
