ALBAWABA - Israeli jets carried out airstrikes in Khan Yunis city, in the southern Gaza Strip, Palestinian media reported on Sunday, detailing that the army continues to breach the ceasefire agreed between Hamas and the Israeli government.

The Government Media Office in Gaza blamed the Israeli occupation for the humanitarian and security repercussions of its repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement.

In a statement, it asserted that Israel's continued "aggressive approach" would undermine any international efforts to maintain calm, and called on the parties sponsoring the agreement to intervene immediately to halt the violations.

Hamas also urged mediators to intervene seriously and compel Israel to halt its attacks and respect the agreements reached.
