ALBAWABA - The Israeli army issued a warning to evacuate three ports in Yemen, Reuters reported on Wednesday.
According to Israeli media, the Yemeni ports are the Ras Isa Port, Hodeidah Port, and the Al-Salif Port.
"We urge you to evacuate these ports until further notice," the Israeli army's Arabic spokesperson, Avichay Adraee, said.
He added: "Due to the terrorist Houthi regime's use of seaports for its terrorist activities, we urge all those present at these ports to evacuate and stay away from them for your own safety until further notice."
Today, the Israeli army announced intercepting a Houthi missile, which triggered sirens in the Jerusalem area early Wednesday morning.
Earlier this month, Israel launched a series of massive airstrikes on Yemen’s strategic Red Sea port city of Hodeida on May 5, in response to a missile attack by the Houthis that struck near Ben Gurion Airport in central Israel on the same day.
A day after attacking Hodeida port, the Israeli army also carried out an airstrike targeting Sanaa International Airport. On May 6, the Israeli attack also targeted Sanaa's power station and the Amran cement factory, local media reported.
